STUDENTS DRIVE PROGRAMMING
IDEA-CLICK® UNLOCKING SYSTEM

It’s easy to claim understanding and knowledge of the fickle college demographic—we back up our claim with years of proven success. In 1994, we co-founded Burly Bear Network, a college cable television network that is now considered the nation’s premier college marketing and TV company. Our irreverent attitude and creative programming attracted the interest of SNL's Lorne Michaels, who purchased a majority interest in Burly Bear in 1997. We've written, produced and directed more than 125 episodes of Half-Baked, the #1 college television program the last eight years running. Our unmatched knowledge base has been developed through years of campus interaction and personal dialogue. We capture intimate moments and celebrate what many consider the best four years of their lives.

Burnt Peaks is committed to developing innovative and original collegiate programming. Most of our ideas come directly from campus, where we have established personal relationships with faculty and undergrads around the country. We’ve learned how students react to television and how it fits into their daily schedules. They've taught us not to preach at them, not to question their freedom, and not to try to sell them anything that sucks. Burnt Peaks puts students in the programming "driver's seat" and strives to deliver products that don't just act like a part of their lives, but are a part of their lives. College is a place to experiment, be different, and try new things. This is what we document, and this is what students respond to.
